Hold On! · Community Guidelines
Most people here are torn between "I want it" and "not yet". They put their hesitation on the table and hope for an honest answer — not a verdict, and certainly not an ad. So this community has just three rules:
1. Give reasons, not verdicts. 2. Attack the purchase, never the person. 3. This is where people come to be talked out of buying, not sold to.
1. When you post a request
- Say exactly what you want to buy. Item name, amount and currency must match, so reviewers don't have to guess.
- Be specific about why. "I want it" is not a reason. "The old one is six years old and the battery lasts two hours" is.
- Fill in the alternative honestly. Do you already own something similar? Is there a cheaper channel? This box is mostly for you.
- Mask your screenshots. No order numbers, addresses, phone numbers, ID documents or other people's faces in the image.
- Accept the result, but you don't have to obey it. Reviews are advice. Buy it if you like — just own the outcome.
2. When you review
- Vote first, read later. Blind voting protects your first reaction. Don't tap a random option just to unlock the result.
- Make the reason usable. "This is 300 more than the comparable model" beats "waste of money" a hundred times over.
- Ask before you judge. If the use case is unclear, ask the requester to add detail, then decide.
- Send a Flower when something helped. It works better than arguing and saves everyone a fight.
- Disagree openly, aim at the item. Personal attacks, mockery and sweeping insults are not "being sharp".
3. Where extra kindness is expected
Assume there is a reason behind these purchases, and don't rush to reject:
- Health: medicine, check-ups, rehab equipment, care supplies for elderly parents.
- Education and tools: courses, books, and the equipment someone earns a living with.
- Family and social obligations: gifts for parents, a flight home, a friend's wedding or funeral.
- Small emotional spending: a milk tea, an ice cream. Most people just want to be understood, not lectured.
4. What gets removed
| Category | Examples |
|---|---|
| Sexual or obscene | Explicit text, suggestive images, items sold on sexual appeal |
| Abuse and attacks | Personal attacks, discrimination by region/gender/job, threats, insulting nicknames |
| Advertising and diversion | Referral codes, reseller recruiting, group invites, private-channel funnelling, fake-order jobs |
| False information | Fabricated purchase records, impersonation, forged vote counts or reasons |
| Privacy violations | Revealing someone's identity, address, employer, or chat screenshots |
| Illegal content | Gambling, fraud, fake invoicing, controlled goods, sensitive political content |
| Minors | Inducing minors to spend, or any inappropriate content involving minors |
Also, please don't treat requests as a wishing well: spamming the same item, posting batches of empty requests, or running multiple accounts to vote for each other all disrupt the service.
5. Reporting, blocking and response times
- Where to report: every request, every reason, and every group name or notice has a report entry under "···", with a category and an optional note (up to 100 characters).
- Response time: we handle reports within 24 hours and notify the reporter of the outcome. Repeated reports on the same content are handled once.
- Self-service tools: you can block a user (their content disappears for you across the App) and maintain blocked keywords to filter items you'd rather not see.
- Enforcement ladder: first warning → 7-day mute → account ban; pornography, fraud and serious illegality lead straight to a ban.
- Appeals: if you think a decision was wrong, email dev@chinsion.com and we will review and reply within 1–3 business days.
6. About anonymity
The alias and geometric avatar in the front end exist so you dare to speak honestly — they are not a shield from responsibility. We retain the link between alias and account in the back end: for abuse, fraud, privacy violations and similar, we act on it, and provide necessary information to judicial or regulatory authorities when lawfully required. Anonymity protects opinions, not infringements.
7. Effect of these guidelines
These guidelines form part of the Terms of Service and have the same effect. The community evolves, and so will the rules; we update this page, and announce material changes in the App. If you have a suggestion, write to us — more than one clause here started as a single sentence from a user.
